INTRODUCTION
M/s. Poly Fibron Composites Pvt. Ltd., (PFCPL), was conceived by a team of young, visionary entrepreneurs, who were in the of plastics & chemical processing field for several years
PFCPL has set up a SMC & DMC manufacturing plant at Asangaon Tal: Shahapur, Dist. Thane, situated at a distance of 60Kms from Mumbai, the financial capital of INDIA. The SMC plant in use by PFCPL has been imported from USA. PFCPL manufactures its DMC and SMC under the brand name of “POMOCO”, having the hundred series for DMC and thousand series for SMC.
SERVICES
We manufacture several grades of DMC & SMC, having applications in varied industries like, Electrical Switchgear, Cookware, Automobile, Locomotive, Sanitary Ware, White Goods Appliance, Defense, Aerospace, Electronic, etc to name a few.
We also have necessary enterprise to design and develop custom-made DMC & SMC as per specific requirements depending on needs. Fiber reinforcements of various types are also possible based on the application of the end product. In addition, specialized high-tech DMC and SMC, which find application in Defense, Aeronautics and Rocket technology can also be manufactured by us as per the critical requirements of these industries.
MANUFCATURING FACILITIES
We have state of the art manufacturing facility for manufacturing POMOCO (Polyester Molding Compound) brand DMC & SMC, which can be classified as -
1. INPUT RAW MATERIAL TESTING FACILITY:
In house facilities for testing input raw materials with quality equipments like Brooke Field Viscosity meter, Precision Electronic Weighing and Measuring Equipments, etc. The quality and consistency of the input raw material is very important to achieve superior molding compounds and the stringent tests that we carry out, ensures that desired result to the end product is achieved.
2. SMC AND DMC COMPOUNDING FACILITIES:
High Speed-High Shear Disperser with Flame proof, Electronic Variable RPM motor capable of achieving speeds higher than 1400 revs, for mixing the DMC/SMC slurry to the desired consistency, even up to 500 Kgs. As the quality of the end product is dependent on the exact weight measurements, we use an Electronic Weighing scale to achieve precise measurement of various input ingredients.
3. DMC Manufacturing Facilities:
Precisely Engineered Heavy duty Flame Proof SS Sigma Mixers of 25 Kgs. and 100 Kgs. Capacities ensures that small (as little as 25 Kgs) as well as large (greater that 1 ton per shift) batches of DMC with even consistency can be manufactured constantly.
4. SMC Manufacturing Facilities:
The SMC plant is semi automatic with very accurate, highly synchronized glass feeding/chopping and resin dispersing system. Drives of variable speeds are available for desired outputs. Variable pressure settings are also possible in the Compaction unit. All the drives and electrical equipment on this plant are flame proof and is capable of producing in excess of 10 Ton of SMC per shift.
5. Automatic Compound Dosing Unit.
The Automatic Compound Dosing unit ensures a fully automatic and highly consistent feed of SMC slurry compound to the SMC plant. This unit consists of a Compound dispenser and a thickening agent dispenser. The slurry compound & the thickening agent are passed through a number of Static mixers. The positive displacement pump on the dosing unit has flame proof & variable speed control regulating system.
6. TESTING FACILITIES:
Modern equipments available with us, which are needed for testing of the SMC and DMC raw materials, manufactured as per the specified testing requirements -
a) High Voltage Dry Arc Testing Machine - Cap 12.5KV
b) Break Down Voltage Testing Machine - Cap.60KV.
c) Comparative Tracking Index Testing Machine - Cap.12.5KV.
d) Universal Testing Machine - Cap.10 tons
7. Moulding Facilities:
In house molding facilities deliver products as prescribed by the customer.
